The naval battles that took place in the Solomon Islands during World War Two are legendary and are often referred to as "bar room brawls" due to the fact
that many took place at night and in close quarters. In the series of actions that took place during late 1942, battleships, cruisers and destroyers of
the United States Navy and the Imperial Japanese Navy fought tooth and nail over the small Southwest Pacific island chain.
Our Guadalcanal Shirt is imprinted with a collage honoring the November 1942 naval battles of Guadalcanal. Admirals Callaghan, Abe, Kondo, Lee and their
flagships appear on the front and an Order of Battle for the historic 13 and 15 November 1942 engagements on the back. [Artwork by Jesse Hernandez]
The Naval Battles of Guadalcanal Shirt is available as the classic white 100% cotton pre-shrunk Hanes t-shirt or the 100% cotton pre-shrunk jersey-style (3/4-sleeve)
shirt in white with black collar and sleeves.
